School Calendar

Under current legislation, Academies do not authorise leave for term time holidays as we hold your child’s education in such high importance. Term time holidays will result in the issuing of a penalty fine.  The fine is £60.00 per parent, per child, which increases to £120.00 if not paid within 21 days. 

In addition to a term time holiday any further absences due to illness may result in your child’s attendance falling below 90%.  This means they will be classed as a persistently absent pupil (PA) and this could result in the issuing of a further penalty fine.

If you need to take a term-time holiday, please complete an Exceptional Circumstances form explaining why it is needed, addressed to the Head teacher. She will consider each request and respond accordingly. Authorisation will only be granted in exceptional circumstances.
